To ensure that we are able to give every beautiful bride the attention she deserves, we highly encourage appointments! If you are out and about and want to stop by without an appointment, we recommend you call ahead.
Upon booking your appointment, you can select the appointment type that best suits you and the amount of time you would like to allot for trying on gowns! We recommended allowing 1-1.5 hours for the full experience, however check out more info about our Dreamy Session for a fun-packed 30-45 minutes mini session, this is perfect for the bride that is in the beginning stages of dress shopping and trying to figure out her perfect silhouette.
Due to the custom nature of our business, all sales are final. We cannot accept cancellations, refunds, or exchanges.
At this time we do not charge for appointments. However, cancelling with less than a 48-hour notice will result in a $50 cancellation fee.
This is a standard practice at boutiques across the country who offer the level of service that we take pride in providing. Alteration costs vary depending on specific needs. Alterations require a deposit of $200 and the remainder will be due at your pick-up appointment before the item(s) leave the store.
On average we like to have 2-3 months before the wedding and/or bridal photo shoots, however we can always expedite. This depends on the dress and the amount of work involved. For the most accurate information please call to schedule a consultation.

Wedding gowns are made to be altered. However every gown is different. Be sure to discuss with your stylist if this is a concern.
Your dedicated professional bridal consultant will guide you through the amazing experience of finding the dress! Both you and your consultant will browse gowns and she will assist you putting them on, it definitely takes a helping hand!

Yes, you most definitely can. We offer a variety of beautiful and inexpensive accessory options.
We love hearing our brides Ring the Bell at Lace & Veil when they find their perfect gown! If that doesn’t happen at your first bridal appointment, we will follow up with you in a couple of days to see where you are in your process.
We recommend bringing your wedding shoes or shoes of similar height, as well as any undergarments you may wear on your wedding day. While most gowns will have built-in bra support, we do require customers to wear underwear when trying on gowns.
For your best experience, we recommend bringing no more than 4 guests to your bridal appointment. If you would like to bring additional guests, please contact the store before your appointment.
You are more than welcome to take photos of the gowns you try on. We do ask all customers to be conscious of other brides and customers in the store as well to ensure that they are not in the background of your photos.
We have a wide range of prices from just under $899 to $4,599. We do have samples for sale off of the rack starting at $299.
Our average sample sizes range from 14-26.
We recommend shopping for your wedding dress at least 9-12 months before your wedding day. Most wedding dresses take about 4-5 months to arrive after being ordered. Also, a bride must take into consideration the time she may need for alterations and fittings after the dress arrives. If you are short on time, dresses are available on a rush delivery for an additional charge. We also have a great selection of samples that we sell off the rack.
We recommend placing your gown order 6-10 months prior to your wedding date to allow for production, shipping, and alterations. If you plan on having bridal portraits before your wedding date, take that into consideration as well.
We recommend shopping for accessories at the time of your bridal appointment so that you can see the whole look while in your gown! Your final dress fitting is another fun time to shop for accessories, and most of our accessories are in stock for same day purchase. Veils and specialty items may take 2-6 months depending upon the designer, so taking advantage of shopping accessories during your bridal appointment is definitely best.
The length of an accessories appointment can vary greatly, but we recommend about 30-60 minutes to fully shop accessories.

While we typically recommend shopping 8-12 months in advance, we do work with several of our designers who have in-stock inventory and rush options for brides shopping for weddings that are sooner.
Rush order fees vary based on the time required and the designer.
Our designers do carry select styles in stock that may be available without rush shipping.
As soon as your gown arrives at our store, we will contact you to let you know and will schedule your first fitting during that conversation!
To ensure an accurate fitting, we require that you bring your wedding shoes as well as the undergarment that you will wear on your wedding day. You should also bring a $200 deposit for your alterations. Your alterations payment can be paid via cash directly to our alterations specialist.
Most bridal alterations require two appointments – a first fitting and final fitting; however special circumstances may require additional alteration appointments.
Gown purchases can be paid for via cash, credit/debit card, or check.
A deposit of 60% is required to confirm your sale and to order your gown from our designer. Lace & Veil offers payment plan options too.
